Ingredients:
3/4 cup granulated sugar
liquid food colouring
1 tbsp glucose syrup or clear corn syrup

Step 1

In medium size bowl, combine sugar and food coloring (if you want to colour it) and mix the sugar until it changes colours
Step 2

Add glucose syrup or corn syrup mix until well combined.
Step 3

Transfer your sugar mixture onto a silicone mat and cover it with another mat
Step 5

Step 6
Roll the sugar sheet in between both mats. (if you don't have silicone mats, you may also do this with parchment paper)
Step 7

Using a rolling pin, cut the bottom so that it is even. (That will be the bottom of your cake) Let it set at room temperature for 3-4 hours before covering your cake. Don't let it dry for to long or else it wont be as flexible and it will break once you pick it up to cover your cake. So keep an eye on it.
