Edible heart cake topper

 

Adorable edible topper perfect for a wedding cake made with vermicelli. Super simple to make and simply a wow factor.

Ingredients:

Rice Vermicelli
Brown food coloring air brushed
Candy Melts
Toothpick
Step 1
Preheat oven at 350'F
Step 2

In a small pot, boil vermicelli until cooked
Step 3
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Make a heart shape with your cooked noodles.
Step 4
Bake 10-15 minutes until they are completely dry. You should be able to lift them with no problem. Turning them around helps the drying process. 
Step 5
Using brown food coloring, air brush your piece.
Step 6
Turn your piece around and glue a toothpick at the bottom of your heart using melted candy melts. Chill for a few minutes until the chocolate has set.
