Hi guys,
hope you had a great week! In this weeks recipe I will show you how to make the best chewy chocolate chip cookies in my eyes. My kids just simply lovvvvvvvvvvvvvve this recipe. When I bake a batch which makes 30-32 cookies depending on the size, they are gone by the end of the day. These are just devine, they are soft, chewy and full of delicious chocolate. I hope you enjoy these as much as we do. :)Also, be sure to Subscribe to my YouTube channel for free online cake decorating tutorials. 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter ( room temperature)
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
6 tbsp. granulated sugar
1 egg
1tsp vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups Hershey's chocolate
1 cup white chocolate chips
Cut your Chocolate Hershey's in small pieces. In a bowl combine both chocolates and set a side.
Step 3
Using an electric mixer, beat together butter and both sugars until fluffy on medium speed.
Step 4
Add the egg and vanilla extract
Step 5
Sift together the flour, baking soda and salt. Gradually add the flour mixture, you will notice that the dough will become sticky. (don't over mix)
Step 6
Add the chocolates and mix with a spatula.
Step 7
Form your dough into balls using a cookie scoop or a spoon. Place them on a cookie tray lined with parchment paper.
Step 8
Bake 1 sheet at the time for 8-10 minutes. The baking time will depend on the size of your cookies. Bake until the edges are lightly browned.
Step 9
Once baked, let them sit on the cookie tray for 3 minutes. Then, transfert them onto a cooling rack.
