Hi everyone,
hope you guys had a great week? In this weeks recipe I will show you how to make Cinnamon pretzels. Ohhhhhh yeah! Simply follow my steps and see how easy it is. Hope you enjoy them!

1 1/2 cups warm water

2 tbsp. granulated sugar
1 pkg dry active yeast
2 tbsp. unsalted butter
4 1/2 cups al purpose flour
1 tsp salt
10 cups water (boiling)
1/2 cup baking soda
Egg wash
1 large egg
1 tbsp. water or milk
1/2 granulated sugar
1tbsp cinnamon
 Step 1 
Heat the water in the microwave.(don't make it to hot or else the yeast wont activate). Add the sugar to your water and the yeast package. Mix until well combined. Set aside until it activates. You will notice that it will start to get foamy and brown
 Step 2 
Once the yeast is foamy, add your melted butter, (make sure it is not to hot)  and mix until well combined.
Step 3 
 Add your flour gradually into your liquid and mix by hand with a wooden spoon.
Step 4
Continu mixing until it becomes a ball of dough and can not be mixed with the machine or by hand anymore. Transfer your dough to your counter sprinkled with flour and knead it until it is nice and smooth (about 6-8 minutes)
Step 5
Spray a large bowl with vegetable oil and roll your ball dough in the oil. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and set aside until the dough doubles in size for about 1 hour.
 Step 6  
Cut dough in to 8 pieces

 Roll each dough to create thin ropes.
  Step 8
 Twist the top of your rope twice. (see pictures)

Form a pretzel shape
 Step 10
Transfert them onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cover them with plastic wrap and let it rise for 15 minutes.
 Step 11 
Boil water and add your baking soda
Step 12
Cook 1 pretzel at the time 1 minute each side.
Step 13
Remove excess water on a paper towel and transfert them back to your baking sheet
Step 14
Brush your egg wash and sprinkle with course salt (only if you want them plain)
Step 15
Preheat oven at 450' F
Step 16
Bake for 10-15 turning your baking sheet around to your half way mark. Let them cool on a cooling rack.
Step 17

Mix cinnamon and sugar until well combined.
Step 18
Brush unsalted butter to each pretzel and cover them with your cinnamon mix.
