This simple fondant flower looks so complicated but truly isn't. Just follow my simple steps and you will see how easy it is to make this daisy. This sugar flower is perfect to decorate your cakes or cupcakes. You may use fondant or gumpaste to create the same look.

You will need these shape cutters to make these flowers. Use the big cutter for the big flower and the small cutter for a smaller size.
After cutting 1 shape fondant piece, place it on a foam pad. Using a petal shaper tool, create creases in the middle of each petals. (This will create a realistic effect)
Place your piece on a flower forming cup. ***You may also use a cupcake mold***
To make the inside of the flower, create a round shape using yellow fondant. Then, using a pointy tool or simply a toothpick, create creases.
Brush green edible luster around your yellow piece with a clean brush.
Apply a small amount of water in the middle of your flower and glue your middle part. (water will act as a glue with fondant) Let the flower dry for at least 24 hours and voilà.
